Don Johnson

Don Johnson is an international dressage horse with an impressive competition record winning many grand prix competitions, ridden by Isabell Werth. Together the partnership win many good dressage classes all around the world, career highlights include winning the world cup qualifier at Salzburg, Austria, the WDM grand prix special in Munich and the grand prix special in Stuttgart.

At the beginning of the 2016 season Don Johnson was Isabell Werth`s top ride but unfortunately an injury ruled the Hanoverian gelding out of selection for the Rio Olympics.

Don Frederico who is a proven dressage stallion, in 1999 Don Frederico caught the eye of many of Europe`s top dressage breeders he won the Hanoverian Stallion Licensing. The bloodlines of Don Johnson are among the best available and includes the legendary dressage sire Donnerhall. As well as Don Johnson, Don Frederico is also the sire of Olympic silver medalist Diva Royal ridden by Dorothee Schneider.

The mother of Don Johnson, Werona is a daughter of Warkant who is a popular breeding stallion who has produced many outstanding dressage horses that includes 18 licensed stallions and 51 state premium mares as well as Wansuela Suerte winner of team gold medal at the 2006 world equestrian games and the 2004 olympic games.
